Kenya Tanker Blast Kills Three, Leaves 10 in Critical Condition

Three people died and 22 survivors were taken to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital after a petroleum tanker crashed and exploded on the Eldoret–Turbo Road near Paul Boit Secondary School. The hospital said 10 patients were in critical condition, with burns covering 40% to 50% of their bodies. Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii visited the victims Friday morning and was received by senior hospital officials Andrew Wandera and Tarus Kipchumba. The hospital said the victims were reportedly trying to siphon fuel before it ignited, and Bii appealed for blood donations.
