Peretz Equalizer Earns Israel 1–1 Draw With Ireland in Nations League

Dor Peretz scored in the 46th minute to earn Israel a 1–1 draw with Ireland in the Nations League on October 4 at the neutral TSC Arena in Bačka Topola, Serbia. Troy Parrott had put Ireland ahead with a first-half penalty awarded after a VAR review. Peretz equalized after Oscar Gloukh’s effort deflected off Liam Scales. Israel twice hit the woodwork later, through Gandelman in the 71st minute and Gloukh in the 77th, while goalkeeper Tzur saved Chiedozie Ogbene’s effort in the 74th minute. It was Ireland’s fourth Group B match of the campaign.
