Iraq's Coordination Framework called on all parties to commit to comprehensive de-escalation in a statement dated October 3. Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi invited the bloc to an emergency meeting at the Government Palace on October 2 to discuss political and security developments. The statement called for stronger state institutions and the rule of law, and praised factions' commitment to an agreement document. It urged the Quadrilateral Committee to continue until June 30, 2027, described as the agreed deadline for implementing constitutional provisions concerning weapons. It also commended the international coalition for respecting the agreed withdrawal timetable.
