Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of an archival April 2015 view of the eastern section of Kyiv's Northern Bridge over the Desenka River, with distant vehicles, trees and calm reflections; contextual view, not a depiction of the October 3 strike damage, rendered in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel strokes.

Kyiv’s Northern Bridge was hit on October 3, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported, and emergency services were sent to the scene. He said the road surface and trolleybus overhead contact network were damaged, with traffic from the left bank to the right bank halted. Kyivpastrans later said bus routes 21, 73, 101 and 114 resumed their usual routes at 07:57 local time, with timetable deviations. Trolleybus routes 29, 30, 31 and 47 were reorganized separately on the two banks, with left-bank services running from Myloslavska Street to Darnytska Square.
