Saudi Civil Defense said debris from an intercepted ballistic missile damaged several buildings and vehicles at residential sites in Khamis Mushait on October 1. The agency attributed the launch to the Houthis and said established emergency procedures were implemented. Coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki separately said forces intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles, one in Khamis Mushait and one in Jazan, and four drones in Khamis Mushait. He said the coalition was continuing operational measures against the Houthi militia; the official statements did not specify casualties or quantify the property damage.
