Yemen’s government-aligned armed forces said they recaptured Al-Yatmah in Khabb wa Al-Shaaf district of Al-Jawf governorate from Houthi forces. The Yemeni Armed Forces Media Center said its troops were continuing to advance after taking the northern town. The government-run Saba news agency said the takeover followed intense clashes and claimed Houthi fighters and commanders withdrew rapidly. Al-Yatmah lies in northern Yemen near the Saudi border. The official statements did not report casualty figures, and neither cited independent confirmation of the battlefield claims.
