17-Year-Old Missing After Triple Drowning Off Ashkelon Found Dead on Shoreline

A 17-year-old who went missing while swimming with two friends off Delilah beach in Ashkelon on September 25 was found dead on the shoreline on the morning of September 26, Magen David Adom said. The emergency call came in at 18:34 on Friday. Paramedics evacuated a 24-year-old, pulled from the water unconscious and in serious condition, and another 17-year-old in mild condition to Barzilai Medical Center. After extensive searches by rescue forces, paramedics found the missing teenager at the waterline without a pulse or breathing and pronounced him dead. Police urged the public to follow lifeguards' instructions and avoid swimming at undeclared beaches or in dangerous seas.
