Nepal Police Raise Rasuwa Flood Death Toll to 389

Nepal Police raised the confirmed death toll from the Bhotekoshi flash flood in Rasuwa to 389 in a 9 p.m. update on Thursday. The recovered bodies included 137 in Chitwan, 87 in Nawalparasi East, 33 in Dhading and 32 in Gorkha, with additional recoveries in five districts. Police reported 466 people injured or rescued, including 289 in Rasuwa and 90 in Nuwakot. The force said 4,348 police personnel were deployed and 28 officers remained out of contact.
