Nepal Police Confirm 95 Dead in Bhotekoshi Flash Flood

Nepal Police data confirmed 95 deaths by 5:45 p.m. after a severe morning flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. The toll included 27 women, 37 men, six girls, five boys and 20 victims who had not yet been identified. Police said 63 injured people had been rescued and were receiving treatment. Bodies were recovered across Rasuwa and several downstream districts, including Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Chitwan, Tanahun and East Nawalparasi.
