Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded on Sunday evening that the IDF chief of staff, Shin Bet chief and attorney general open a comprehensive investigation into participants in the documentary NAZA. He called for prosecution over alleged serious information-security offenses, criminal defamation and harm to Israel's diplomatic and security interests. Netanyahu described the film's account as false, misleading and biased, accusing it of defaming Israel and the IDF worldwide and seriously damaging Israel's standing. He also expressed support for Israeli soldiers in the statement.
