Arkia Says Dubai Repatriation Flights Approved for Friday and Saturday

Arkia said it had received the approvals needed to operate repatriation flights from Dubai to Israel on Friday and Saturday, following intensive discussions involving aviation and security authorities. The airline planned one flight on Friday and another on Saturday, while working to arrange three additional flights over the weekend. Passengers returning to Israel would leave their checked suitcases in Dubai for transport on a separate cargo flight and collect them after arrival. Israir said it had obtained Dubai Airport’s approval but was still waiting for confirmation from all parties before opening its flight for sale.
