Five Israeli Opposition Leaders Sign Pact Not to Attack Each Other Before Election

Five leaders of Israel's opposition bloc met on Saturday night at Yair Lapid's home in Tel Aviv and signed a joint principles document ahead of next month's Knesset election. Lapid, Naftali Bennett, Gadi Eisenkot, Avigdor Liberman and Yair Golan pledged that, until a government is formed, none of them or anyone acting on their behalf will attack another party in the bloc or its leader. They agreed to form a government together after the vote and to set up three joint teams within 48 hours, covering turnout and election integrity, government guidelines, and coordinated messaging. The document does not say who would lead the bloc.
