Brazilian Singer Rick Sollo and Four Others Found Dead in Helicopter Wreckage

Firefighters in Brazil's Santa Catarina state found the wreckage of a Bell 430 helicopter near Santa Bárbara on Tuesday and confirmed that all five people aboard had died. The aircraft, registered PP-MGR, had gone missing Monday on a flight from Porto Belo to São Joaquim. Those aboard included sertanejo singer Rick Sollo of the duo Rick & Renner, businessman Bruno Avelar, videomaker Paulo Soares, a pilot and a copilot. The recovery followed a search in the Serra Catarinense area. Authorities had not established the cause of the crash as of Tuesday.
