A NewsChopper4 helicopter providing aerial coverage for NBC4 and Telemundo 52 crashed between commercial buildings in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, shortly before 7 p.m. on September 15, killing three people. NBC identified aerial reporter Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw, both Angel City Air employees, as the two people aboard; a third person died on the ground. The Los Angeles Fire Department said one other person was hospitalized, and 56 firefighters extinguished a fire that damaged four vehicles and two storage containers. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause.
