Cuba’s International Visitor Arrivals Fall 62.8% Through July

Cuba received 419,863 international visitors through July 2026, 708,968 fewer than in the same period of 2025, according to the National Office of Statistics and Information. The total was 37.2% of the previous year's level, a 62.8% decline during the period. Cuba recorded 794,492 travelers overall, 50.2% of the comparable 2025 total and 787,773 fewer. The largest absolute declines came from Canada, down 350,737 visitors; the Cuban community abroad, down 52,021; Russia, down 50,816; and the United States, down 39,944.
