France defeated Belgium 1-0 at King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on Monday after Michael Olise scored a solo goal in the 88th minute of their UEFA Nations League match. Olise ran from halfway before finishing, ending a match that had remained scoreless despite chances at both ends. UEFA reported that Désiré Doué hit the crossbar before half-time and Lucas Da Cunha struck the post after the break for France, while Dodi Lukébakio had Belgium's closest chance. The result gave France a second win in its first two matches under coach Zinédine Zidane.
