Colombian Forces Kill Segunda Marquetalia Finance Chief in Huila

Colombian forces killed alias Robinson Gutiérrez during an operation on Sunday in El Cadillo, a rural area of Tello municipality in Huila. President Abelardo De La Espriella said the joint Army, Police and Air Force action targeted the Teófilo Forero Castro unit of the Segunda Marquetalia, and that three other members were arrested. Officials described Gutiérrez as the unit's political and financial chief. De La Espriella also alleged that Gutiérrez was linked to the 2025 murder of presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay; that connection remains an allegation.
