Federal Police Lay 115 More Charges Against Former Sydney Childcare Worker, Total Now 444

The Australian Federal Police said on September 25 that it had laid 115 more charges against a 35-year-old former Sydney childcare worker under Operation Moonbi, bringing his total to 444. The new counts under New South Wales law include 105 of producing child abuse material, one of a sexual act with a child under 10, five of filming a private act in aggravating circumstances and four of possessing child abuse material. Police allege offending between 2009 and 2025 at five early childhood facilities in Sydney’s north-west. The AFP said the number of identified victims has not increased. The man, in custody since July 2025, is due in Parramatta Local Court on October 8.
