Putin Decree Lets Russia Take Control of Infrastructure Vulnerable to Drone Attacks

President Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing Russia's government, on presidential instruction, to place critical infrastructure owners' assets under temporary state management when authorities judge security measures late, inadequate or ineffective. The rule explicitly includes failures to counter drone attacks and covers movable and immovable property, securities, company stakes and property rights. Rosimushchestvo becomes the default temporary manager, while the government decides when control ends. The decree covers energy, nuclear, industrial, communications, utilities, transport and logistics sites and took effect upon official publication.
