Netanyahu Visits Gaza Outpost and Says Israel Will Stay on Yellow Line

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited an IDF outpost near Gaza’s Yellow Line with Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor. Commanders briefed him on operations to remove threats and protect Israeli troops and nearby communities. Netanyahu said Israel controls 60% of the Gaza Strip, will remain on the line, and is working toward disarming Hamas and demilitarizing Gaza. He said the goal of preventing Gaza from threatening Israel had largely been achieved but that more work remained.
