Israel Says Duvdevan Arrested Five in Qabatiya Over Planned Attack

Israel’s military said Duvdevan troops arrested five suspects before dawn Friday in Qabatiya, acting on Shin Bet intelligence under the Menashe Brigade. The IDF alleged the group was advancing plans to attack Israeli civilians and security forces; it did not disclose an intended target, method or date. It said all five were detained within ten minutes of troops reaching their suspected locations. Searches of their homes recovered an M16 rifle and additional concealed military equipment, according to the military, and the suspects were transferred for further security questioning.
