U.S. Begins New Round of Strikes on IRGC Targets in Iran

U.S. forces began a new round of strikes on Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets in Iran at noon ET Tuesday, U.S. Central Command said. The command identified the targets as belonging to the IRGC but did not disclose their locations or provide damage assessments. CENTCOM said the operation followed recent alleged IRGC attempts to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and American service members deployed in the region. Its announcement did not report casualties from the new strikes.
