UAE Air Force Responds to Drone Approaching From Iran

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence said the UAE Air Force responded to an unmanned aerial vehicle detected over the country's territorial waters while approaching from Iran on Monday morning. The statement did not identify the aircraft's operator, type, intended target, exact location or final disposition, and it reported no casualties or damage. The ministry said the armed forces were at a high level of readiness and that air-defense systems were monitoring the airspace around the clock. It urged the public to rely on official sources for information.
