印度任命三名高等法院首席法官为最高法院法官

印度在总统德劳帕迪·穆尔穆批准后，任命三名现任高等法院首席法官为最高法院法官。获任命者分别是古吉拉特邦高等法院的苏尼塔·阿加瓦尔、德里高等法院的德文德拉·库马尔·乌帕迪亚亚，以及特伦甘纳邦高等法院的阿帕雷什·库马尔·辛格。司法事务部门依据宪法第124(2)条，分别发布了日期为10月5日的通知。每项任命均在法官就任时生效。这些任命获批之前，最高法院法官遴选委员会已提出推荐。
