卫生部长马克·巴特勒宣布，澳大利亚将在五年内提供4,650万澳元，将McGrath癌症护理护士服务扩展至前列腺癌。计划将从2027年7月1日起，在全国资助60.5个全职当量前列腺癌护士岗位，涵盖2027至28年度至2031至32年度。政府表示，截至2026年7月1日，128名新配置McGrath护士已支持7,522名患者。扩展服务将与澳大利亚前列腺癌基金会合作；估计2025年超过28,000名澳大利亚男性被诊断患前列腺癌。
