Herzog Awards Presidential Medal of Honor to Israel Bonds

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of an archival June 2024 portrait of Isaac Herzog in a dark suit, blue tie and glasses before a partly visible Israeli flag and wood-paneled background in Tel Aviv; contextual portrait, not the October 2026 Israel Bonds award ceremony, rendered in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel strokes.

President Isaac Herzog awarded Israel Bonds the Presidential Medal of Honor at the President's Residence in Jerusalem on October 12. Andrew M. Hutter, the organization's U.S. and international board chairman, and Global President and CEO Dani Naveh accepted the medal on its behalf. More than 100 members of its global leadership attended the ceremony. Israel Bonds and its worldwide affiliates have raised capital for Israel through bond sales since 1951. Herzog said investors had purchased more than $58 billion in bonds over 75 years, helping develop Israel's economy and advance science and technology.
