U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that his envoys met an Iranian delegation for three hours on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Trump described the talks as productive and said another meeting was expected soon, but announced no agreement. Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were among the U.S. representatives, according to Trump's account; Witkoff told reporters he felt good about the talks. Iranian officials said Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi participated and Qatar mediated the meeting.
