Magen David Adom Treated 3,322 People Across Israel During Yom Kippur

Magen David Adom said it treated 3,322 people and evacuated 2,268 to hospitals during the 25-hour Yom Kippur observance. The service recorded 368 people who fainted, became dehydrated or felt ill while fasting, and 299 injuries involving bicycles, scooters, rollerblades or skateboards, including nine moderate and 290 light injuries. Road incidents injured 46 people, including two who died, while violent incidents injured 40 and caused one death. Crews transported 155 women in labor, assisted five births in five communities, and supplied hospitals with 152 blood units or components.
