UK Grants Consent for 400MW Beacon Fen Solar and Battery Park

The UK government has granted development consent for the Beacon Fen Energy Park in Lincolnshire. The approved project combines up to 400MW of solar generation, battery storage with a connection capacity of up to 600MVA, an onsite substation and a grid connection of up to 400kV. The application was submitted on April 8, 2025, accepted on May 1 and recommended to the energy secretary on May 22, 2026.
