Dubai Customs has deployed a peak-season airport plan with round-the-clock staffing, flexible team assignments and 77 baggage scanners. The equipment includes 58 scanners for checked or large baggage and 19 for carry-ons. Its iDeclare service lets travelers declare belongings and gifts before arrival and can cut red-channel processing from 45 minutes to less than five.
