IDIF specialists recovered the body of soldier Wilson Copa Mamani from rubble at the Bolivian Army’s Bolívar maintenance center in Viacha, raising the confirmed death toll to three. The Army said Copa Mamani had been completing military service and was among 14 uniformed personnel previously listed as unaccounted for. Defence Minister Ernesto Justiniano had reported 84 people injured after two explosions at about 14:30 Friday; authorities said the larger second blast remains under investigation. Officials warned that explosive booster devices and other hazardous material remained scattered as teams evacuated materiel from a damaged storage building.
