Weapons Experts Say Iran Wedding Blast Was Likely Direct U.S. Munition Hit

Weapons experts who reviewed verified images and video said damage at a wedding home in Kuhestak, Iran, was consistent with a direct strike rather than a ricochet. All four experts reached that assessment, and three said the munition was likely American rather than an Iranian interceptor; one said it may have missed its intended target. Iranian state television reported that a 22-year-old woman died in hospital, raising the reported toll to five, while officials reported nearly 70 wounded. Vice President JD Vance said the United States was investigating, and the U.S. has not accepted responsibility.
