肯尼亚护士工会与县长理事会签署复工方案后，护士于9月9日结束全国罢工。肯尼亚全国护士和助产士工会秘书长塞思·帕尼亚科指示护士立即或在24小时内返岗。协议给予双方45天，以完成有关实施2017年集体谈判协议的谈判，并协调示范护理职业发展指南。报道称，全部47个县政府将从2026年7月1日起，以永久岗位和享有养老金的条件雇用全民健康覆盖计划的护士，薪资依据薪酬委员会标准。
