科索沃自决党及民主联盟支持贝基姆·塞伊迪乌出任总统

科索沃看守总理阿尔宾·库尔蒂与民主联盟领袖卢米尔·阿卜迪吉库，在议会会谈后，自决党及民主联盟同意提名法律教授贝基姆·塞伊迪乌为总统。阿卜迪吉库表示，谈判自7月9日持续，考虑数名候选人后，两党选定塞伊迪乌，他已接受提名。塞伊迪乌曾任宪法法院法官、驻土耳其大使及驻纽约总领事。两党拥有71席，加上少数族群政党支持，可达到81席，而有效总统投票需要80名议员在场。议会议长、政府及总统投票日期均尚未公布。
