尼泊尔及中国西藏地区当局报告，8月26日洪水及山体滑坡后，合计750人死亡、3,044人失踪。尼泊尔灾害机构表示，截至周日上午9时，已找到734具遗体、2,498人仍失踪、8,186人获救。中国地区官员报告，吉隆有16人死亡、546人失踪，其中包括来自23个国家的261名外国人。尼泊尔失踪者包括589名外国人及127名与外国人同行的尼泊尔人，政府已部署19,895名安全人员。
