Netanyahu Condemns Settler Violence After Qusra Home Attack

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned what he called criminal acts by a handful of rioters after Israeli settlers attacked the West Bank villages of Qusra and Jalud. A joint IDF and Border Police statement said dozens of Israeli rioters threw stones and barricaded themselves inside a Palestinian home while residents remained inside; security forces removed them, separated the groups and confiscated three vehicles. The statement said a Palestinian woman with non-urgent injuries was evacuated by the Red Crescent. Netanyahu said the IDF, Shin Bet and police were investigating and that he expected arrests and prosecutions, while no arrests had been announced by publication time.
