Iran’s Crude Loadings Fall to 260,000 Barrels a Day Under U.S. Pressure

Kpler data put Iran’s current crude loadings at about 260,000 barrels a day, down from 1.7 million a year earlier, as U.S. sanctions and the Strait of Hormuz blockade restrict export revenue. An earlier estimate put August crude and condensate loadings at 220,000 to 255,000 barrels a day, versus 740,000 in July. Three senior Iranian sources said access to foreign currency and goods is narrowing, while one put gasoline reserves at roughly two months. President Masoud Pezeshkian said trade has dropped 25% to 35%, and official inflation reached 69.9% over 12 months.
