The IDF said a preplanned exercise involving the Judea and Samaria Division, 98th, 96th and 210th divisions and the Air Force began Sunday morning, October 25. The exercise is part of the Operations Directorate's 2026 training schedule and incorporates lessons from the war. It aims to maintain readiness, strengthen community defense and practice the use of aerial capabilities for regional defense. The military said increased security-force, aircraft and vehicle movements were expected across Central and Northern Commands on October 25–26, and there was no concern of a security incident.
