Netanyahu Aide Urich Reportedly Told Police Qatar Work Continued After October 7

Jonatan Urich, a close adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reportedly told Lahav 433 investigators that work to promote Qatar's image continued until around the middle or end of 2024. Interrogation excerpts published on October 19 quote him as saying he received hundreds of thousands of shekels, without giving an exact sum. He said Israel "Shrulik" Einhorn told him the project had ended. Urich maintained that he had not promoted Qatar inside Israel and rejected investigators' allegation that he was paid to promote its interests after the October 7, 2023 massacre.
