Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel has plans to counter drones during a visit to eastern border barrier construction near Kibbutz Massada in the Jordan Valley on Thursday. He described the barrier being built from the Yarmouk River to Eilat and said the wider defense effort includes forces and operational planning, without disclosing details of the drone response. Defense Minister Israel Katz and senior commanders accompanied him. Netanyahu said the engineering and logistical work, supported by IDF personnel and reservists, is intended to protect Israeli citizens and prevent infiltration.
