Itamar Ben Gvir said on Tuesday that his Otzma Yehudit party would not sign a surplus-vote agreement with Ofer Winter’s Amcha Yisrael ahead of Israel’s Knesset election. In a public post, he compared Winter to former prime minister Naftali Bennett and cited that comparison as the reason for refusing a deal. Amcha Yisrael responded by telling Ben Gvir to “grow up” and criticizing his style. The party accused him of discarding votes after portraying the election as consequential. The deadline for signing surplus-vote agreements is Friday.
