A woman around 40 died at Soroka Medical Center after suffering multiple stab wounds in an apartment on Ben Or Street in Beersheba early on October 11. Magen David Adom said it received the emergency call at 01:42 and evacuated her in critical condition with penetrating injuries. Her husband, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of murder. The couple have three children, aged 5, 16 and 20; their youngest was in the apartment during the incident. A preliminary police investigation indicated that the husband called police and that no previous reports of violence involving the couple had been filed.
