Haifa District prosecutors filed indictments on Friday against three men over possession of a Matador shoulder-fired missile that police say was stolen from the IDF. The defendants are a 22-year-old Palestinian resident of Judea and Samaria allegedly present in Israel unlawfully, and two Shfar’am residents aged 22 and 24. Police said officers located the weapon near Shfar’am on September 5, and that questioning two suspects led investigators to a third who had documented himself holding it. Prosecutors asked Haifa District Court to keep the defendants in custody until the conclusion of proceedings.
