Israel Opens Its First National Pavilion at Morocco’s Marrakech Airshow

Israel’s Defense Ministry said its International Defense Cooperation Directorate, SIBAT, opened the country’s first national pavilion at Morocco’s Marrakech Airshow and led an Israeli delegation. The ministry described this as Israel’s first official participation in the Moroccan defense exhibition since the Abraham Accords. Eight Israeli defense companies displayed technologies including loitering munitions, AI-powered robotic systems, autonomous drone navigation and satellite communications; Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael also exhibited. The delegation met foreign delegations and government officials as part of the ministry’s effort to expand defense exports and international cooperation. No specific contract or export value was announced.
