유럽연합은 우크라이나 독립기념일에 방공·미사일 방어체계, 미사일, 탄약, 레이더를 위한 61억 유로를 승인했습니다. 승인은 우크라이나의 재정을 유지하고 방위역량을 강화하기 위한 900억 유로 우크라이나 지원대출의 첫 지급과 함께 이뤄집니다. 유럽연합 집행위원회는 러시아의 전면 침공 이후 EU의 인도적·재정적·군사적 지원 총액이 2,202억 유로에 달했다고 밝혔습니다. 우크라이나는 올여름 EU 가입협상의 두 협상군도 개시했습니다.
