An employee of Iraq's North Oil Company said Monday evening that flows through the Kirkuk-Ceyhan export system had risen to about 250,000 barrels a day from roughly 225,000. The employee said Kirkuk fields accounted for about 180,000 barrels a day, while the Kurdistan Regional Government delivered about 70,000. The source attributed the increase to additional crude brought by tanker from Basra into the system. Oil is being sent from the Saralu station through Turkey to Ceyhan, where storage tanks have filled, while transport and coordination between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government continue, the source said.
