Colombian authorities were reported to have raised the preliminary death toll from Operation AMÓN to 11 after an airstrike and ground operation against a dissident-FARC camp near El Retorno in Guaviare. President Abelardo De La Espriella had earlier reported eight deaths and said the operation targeted camps used by the Bloque Jorge Suárez Briceño. The later report said two people were captured and four wounded people escaped. The president said troops were still consolidating the area; the revised toll remained preliminary, and the possible presence of commanders known as Giovanni Bonito and Urías Perdomo was not confirmed.
