Argentina Transfers Olivos Presidential Security to Casa Militar

Argentina's government said Casa Militar will take full responsibility for security at the Olivos presidential residence and temporary residences used by President Javier Milei and his family. The handover of responsibilities and assets must be completed within 60 days. The General Administration of the Olivos Presidential Residence will be dissolved, separating security, administrative and control functions as part of a smaller formal structure. Officials cited stronger security, simpler internal administration, increased global insecurity and preparations for Pope Leo XIV's November 8–11 visit, when outside personnel will need access for works and services.
