New Zealand Launches Fourth Public Research Organisation in Auckland

The New Zealand Institute for Advanced Technology has officially launched at GridAKL in Auckland as the country's fourth Public Research Organisation. It will focus on commercializing artificial intelligence, quantum technologies and advanced materials. The institute has committed NZ$71 million over seven years to the Future Magnetic and Materials Technologies Platform at the Paihau–Robinson Research Institute.
